NewSpaceVision #7: Labvisit @ PTScientist

When: 1.04.2017, 13:45 – 18:00
Where: PTScientists, Märkische Allee 82a, 12681 Berlin

Visit a moon rover!!!

The Berlin based NewSpace StartUp PTScientists are working hard on the first private mission to the moon.

Since their first appearance at NewSpaceVision a lot has happened and they just shifted to a >2000sqm facility in east Berlin to accelerate the development of their mission hard- and software.

At their open-door day on the 1st of April you have the chance to visit their new headquarter and have a look at their labs, office rooms, test facilities and their moon test field. Of course ALINA (the moon lander) and the Audi lunar quatro (the moon rover) will be there in action. If you have questions about their mission, which is planned for 2018, you have the chance to ask the members of the team!

Don’t miss this chance to get a real insight look into the place where „Hell yeah it’s rocket science!“  is not only a slogan.

Bring your friends and colleagues and help NewSpaceVision grow.

Soon we will also announce a few of our space entrepreneurs podcast guests for this year!!!

Several generations of their moon rover will be there:

European Astronaut Centre with German Astronaut Gerhard Thiele 01/2017

Dear NewSpace Visionaries,

what is it like to be an astronaut and what skills do you need? Those questions are in my head since I was a little child. With the opportunity to visit the European Astronaut Centre in Cologne I got a few answers from a person that was closer to the final frontier, the German Astronaut Gerhard Thiele. First of all, it´s the third German astronaut (Jähn, Ewald) I talked to and I can say for sure, astronauts are awesome. A little bit like superheros. But to be a superhero they have to train for years. They get lessons in engineering, medicine, biology, public relations, flying a sojus and so on. That´s the reason they are in facilities like the EAC in cologne. But what the hell am I talking about this in NewSpaceVision? Just think about an imaginary Astronaut Centre in twenty to thirty years. Maybe it looks a little bit like this with NASA, ESA and yes… a NewSpace company.
